Meet Kayleigh
Kayleigh Trenholm, She/They

BA Honours, MA in Counselling Psychology, RCT-C
Kayleigh holds a Masters in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and is currently working toward her complex trauma certification (CCTP I/CCTP II). In therapy, Kayleigh uses a person-centred and humanistic approach that acknowledges the client’s strengths, and potential for personal growth. They use evidence-based modalities and interventions, as well as client feedback and collaboration to guide their work. Such modalities and interventions include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), mindfulness-based interventions and breathwork.
Kayleigh is a queer, neuro-affirming therapist with a background in trauma work, including abusive relationships and intimate partner violence (IPV). She has experience working with a variety of clients from different demographic and cultural backgrounds. Their approach is non-judgmental and welcoming to all clients and life experiences.
Outside of the therapy office, you can find Kayleigh at home playing video games and snuggling her pets, or at the family cottage enjoying the beach air.
