Bachelor of Social Work, Masters of Social Work, Registered Social Worker
Sarah is a registered social worker, and holds a Masters in Clinical Social Work from the University of Calgary. Her methods of practice are mainly Narrative Therapy and mindfulness practices based on Buddhist psychology. She is also trained in EMDR Therapy.
Sarah's approach is gentle and compassionate. She is committed to holding your stories in reverence, and in co-constructing rich stories, with greater possibilities than the suffering or the stuck places in which you might find yourself at times.
Sarah is passionate about social justice, working with adult women, LGBTQ+ individuals, and persons suffering with addiction. She practices non-judgement and collaborates with her clients to tap into their unique knowledge and experiences. Sarah takes solace in being with horses, reading crime novels, and a daily yoga and meditation practice.
"I would be honoured to hear your story and to walk with you through your suffering and your healing."
